Beyond impressive. Have you ever submitted anything to Reddit? This feels like something that would find traction there.

Thanks, Wes! I've always shied away from Reddit. LMK if you have any tips for navigating the platform.

Well John, it seems that you have found a niche! I trust it will open into a manufacturing contract that can meet with the support you deserve and have interest that lasts longer than gesneriads, field work, and plant conservation has done. Looking back, I see similarities in work interest changes in my life. compared to yours. Even so, I have found a final lifetime work that I might share with you one of these days. I'm backing you 100 percent! Wes

Congratulations John! That was indeed a huge project. Really good to be able to see the progress pics of the build and the commentary. I’m looking forward to continuing this dramatic series with episodes like “First Shakedown Tow”, “Into The Desert”, and “The Grand Tour”. Gotta shout out to Jack too…DTR’s a good name. Now, when you get down here to Kiwi Land you should be able to license the design to a local manufacturer. World domination of the tiny camper market hovers ion the horizon 👍

Hey John,

Very cool! I’ve looked around for a road trip worthy mini-trailer, without much satisfaction. What you’ve created really fits my specs…a true Nano!

I want one, with the following mods…a one burner induction cooktop instead of gas, lithium batteries, a connection to power it from a Tesla or other electric car/truck, and a specially designed, secure chamber pot. Also a strong wheel lock to prevent theft, and a side rail for an external canopy/tent. Lastly, a roof covered with integrated solar panels would be ideal.

Let me know when your current concept trailer is available for a tour!

Cheers,

Cliff
